This book has it all!!! I loved Chloe and Tark, they were perfect for each other.

Chloe is kidnapped from Earth and kept in this house that is trying to make her become super model skinny. I laughed so hard listening to her talk to the house.

Tark ends up coming to the place she is being held because of a prophecy. He believes the jewel that will heal his stutter is there. When he gets there he only finds Chloe. However, he takes her from the fat shaming house.

They go to another place where the

I really liked this one, i could totally see myself going through what Chole did in this book, abducted by aliens, stuck in a smart house trying to make you look like the perfect earth girl. Tark who choose to save Chole has no idea what he's been looking for and having chole help him look for to after saving her, was there the entire time.

Note: I haven't read the book, this is a comment on the blurb and whole premise of the book.

Huh. That blurb. Where do I start? My eyes literally bulged out of my sockets comically when I read it. Seriously, a Smart House for fat people to lose weight? Wouldn't it have been easier to abduct thin people? The abductors could make a faster profit! LETTUCE AND CELERY?! I hate the ignorance it shows in the challenges and triumphs of the weight loss journey. This kind of mindset is dangerous and misogy

I loved this story. Tark, the hero, was plagued by a stutter that had alienated him from not only his family but from any meaningful relationships until he meets Chloe. She understands his stutter and as a SLP, has the skills to help him overcome it. The tension between Chloe and Tark was amazing and their relationship develops almost instantly. There were a few moments that dragged especially near the end but overall, Tark is now my favourite hero and this Kindred story is a hit for me.

Ahhh... I love, love , LOVED this book!! I've always been a huge fan of the Kindred series and one of the reasons why I love it is because the author isn't afraid of writing about main characters with differences. Not everyone is perfect. We aren't all size 5's. Everyone has scars and imperfections of some sort. Some people have a disability, they may be blind or deaf and some people have survived abuse. What I love about this series is that the author doesn't shy away from creating heroes and h ...more

I love a story about a hero with physical flaws. This was fantastic as always but lent an air of realness to the story.

Oh, and I love a good cross-over. The Commercians showing up and the Alternate Universe story line was fabulous!

Twenty-five books in and this "writer" still doesn't have a command of the English language. A king "reigns." You "rein" in your emotions just like you rein in your horse. This isn't rocket science. 🙄

Otherwise, it's the same old story with different names. Should just take these straight to porn vids because the stupid story doesn't matter and it's all about the sex. That's the caliber of the writing here.
